NPDP-GDEV GCT-0100 Rev. 1.01
- - togemet2

The following disc is titled NPDP-GDEV GCT-0100. It is an application which emulates a Nintendo GameCube Disc with the files on a PC using an NPDP-GDEV. With ODEM, the emulation can be carried out directly with the files on the PC, without building a GameCube disc image, and this contributed to greater debugging efficiency. ODEM also supports emulation with an access speed close to that of the actual drive. (This function can be enabled or disabled. When it is disabled, debugging which does not need to take into account reading speed can be carried out faster).

Partner-N64 Software (SGI IRIX)
- - togemet2

Today we have released the SGI IRIX version of the Partner-N64 software by KMC! For those who do not know, the Partner-N64 was used to aid in the development of Nintendo 64 games by providing developers with the luxury of being able to debug in real time. Previously only the version for Windows machines was readily available. It is theorized that the reason the SGI version is so hard to come by is due to very little groups using it or they were primarily used internally by Nintendo.

3D Model RGB Test Program (USA)
- - togemet2

Today we have released another Nintendo 64 prototype cartridge from THQ/Eurocom! This a test program for testing RGB. When booted you are greeted by simple 3D models with gravity physics. Using your controller you can change various settings within the slider box. The true name of this test program is unknown, as the sticker on the cartridge was just never updated since the cartridge was rewritten multiple times. In addition to this test program, there is also an overdump for Duke Nukem: Zero Hour! Interestingly, the header incorrectly identifies it as the cancelled game “40 Winks”.

NUS Controller Checker (Japan) (Prototype)
- - togemet2

Today we have released the NUS Controller Checker for the Nintendo 64! This is a prototype for the controller checker in the well known N64 Test Cartridge used by the Nintendo World Class Service Center to test and repair systems. This is quite notable as the N64 Test Cartridge has not yet successfully been able to be dumped, so this is the first time that we can get to play around with a piece of it! The label on the back reads “コントローラ検査器 NUS用Nカセット” (Controller Tester N Cassette for NUS).

While the back of the label indicates this as being Ver. 00, the actual ROM is labelled Ver. 1.01.
