X'treme Roller (USA) (Prototype)

Today we have released X’treme Roller, a cancelled Nintendo 64 port developed by Titus Software! It did, however, make a retail release on the Playstation 1 in PAL regions. This build is very early and contains no sound effects or music, with only two playable areas. The two areas can be swapped between by pressing the L button.

NPDP-GDEV GCT-0100 Rev. 1.01

The following disc is titled NPDP-GDEV GCT-0100. It is an application which emulates a Nintendo GameCube Disc with the files on a PC using an NPDP-GDEV. With ODEM, the emulation can be carried out directly with the files on the PC, without building a GameCube disc image, and this contributed to greater debugging efficiency. ODEM also supports emulation with an access speed close to that of the actual drive. (This function can be enabled or disabled. When it is disabled, debugging which does not need to take into account reading speed can be carried out faster).

Today we have released a promotional DVD by Nintendo titled “Game Play Footage DVD Zer06”. This disc was given to press who attended E3 2006, and it contains many early B-roll clips for upcoming DS and Wii titles such as: Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, Twilight Princess, New Super Mario Bros DS, and many more. Each clip provides us with a nice and clear look into prototypes for the games shown. The Wii portion consists of two video clips, one of them containing music, and one containing only sound.

For those who do not know, the Partner-N64 was used to aid in the development of Nintendo 64 games by providing developers with the luxury of being able to debug in real time. Previously only the version for Windows machines was readily available. It is theorized that the reason the SGI version is so hard to come by is due to very little groups using it or they were primarily used internally by Nintendo.
