We’ve preserved a prototype of Shadowgate for the Nintendo Famicom by Kemco! This build is dated November 1988, which places this roughly four months before the retail Japanese release!
Differences
- The prototype is copyrighted 1988 instead of the retail’s 1989.
- It contains an additional copyright year of 1987 above the main copyright information.
- Differences within the game’s script.
