Nesticle (Source Code)
Nesticle is a freeware emulator that hit the emulation scene in April of 1997, created by classmates Icer Addis and Ethan Petty. The emulator was applauded for it’s speed, even on lower end machines, and it introduced many features that are commonplace within emulators today. Just five days after the initial release, founder of Damaged Cybernetics, Donald Moore (also known under the alias MindRape), mounted a hard drive belonging to Icer Addis using the program “Samba”. He began to steal the source code to Nesticle and then offered it to users on IRC, and after a few more updates of the emulator, it was abandoned.
The following file is the original source code zip which was taken that day.
